Sue lee
Sue Lee is the founder of ili ili stones and the lead facilitator in teaching hot stone therapy with the ili ili stones method. Sue is recognised as a leading trainer in hot stone therapy and teaches extensively all over Australia. She holds a Bachelor degree in Science (Homeopathy) and a Diploma of Education.Sue has a background as a remedial and ka huna massage therapist. She has completed all six levels of ka huna massage training as taught through Mettes Institute, and became a trainer in Hawaiian massage in 2004. She has undertaken additional training in lomi lomi and Huna philosophy from Nancy Kahalewai, one of the main teachers from the Big Island. She has further extended her knowledge of Huna with Aunty Meheolani,. Sue is a down to earth and caring teacher with a passion for sharing her knowledge.
Sue is also the owner of Natural Therapeutics (hyperlink), a busy and vibrant clinic in Brunswick, and is a member of the Australian Natural Therapies Association and the Australian Association of Massage Therapists.
Jody ann
Jody Ann has been a bodyworker for 7 years. She began her studies with Melbourne College of Natural Medicine, studying Swedish massage and aromatherapy. At that time she was facilitating 'Introduction to Swedish Massage' courses. JodyAnn completed her Remedial Massage diploma at Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy. She also studied further in aromatherapy with Ron Guba - one of Australia's leading aromatherapists.Jody Ann learned ka huna massage as taught by Mettes Institute. Ili ili stones has been a part of JodyAnn's therapeutic tool bag since ili's conception. JodyAnn has facilitated ili ili stones courses for many different groups all over Australia.
Jody Ann feels passionately that working with the stones is of immense benefit to any bodyworker and that it is also an incredible way for anyone to be introduced to massage therapy. Believing passionately in the ili stones and Hawaiian philosophy, JodyAnn feels that all learning and facilitating should be performed with love and aloha.
